My style:
I assess students need to determine the correct approach.
If the student is too weak I will start by building a strong foundation. Most of the time it is about creating the right attitude towards learning and being discipline. For subjects such as Maths, lesson plan mostly consist of practices where questions are set at different difficulty levels. Learning here is a step by step process determined by the pace of a student. For subjects that involves remembering lots of facts, I will make powerpoints that highlights the main points into attention grabbing colorful short notes or suitable formats. This is used during lessons for detailed explanation. I practice interactive learning by allowing question between sub chapters at frequent intervals. Language is coached first by teaching basic grammar followed by writing. Goals are set every week to improve vocabulary and model essays serve as a starting point. Practice is given after each lesson to strengthen their understanding and memory. I improvise my coaching according to the need of students. So far my techniques have yielded positive results and I'm still learning to become a better coach.

My accomplishments:
• Coached Mathematics and Malay to a student who was consistently failing to a grade B and A (IGCSE) respectively.
• Coached a student diagnosed with severe depression and memory problem to receive a passing grade in IGCSE in Mathematics.
• Taught Biology and Chemistry (KS3 and KS4) where weak students improved their grades and good students maintained their grade in exams.
• coached a student math olympiad & singapore maths where he received a bronze medal
