I am a passionate Math educator with more than 2 decades of experience in Math education and leadership with visionary teaching and academic mentoring. In my capacity as high school mathematics coordinator for the establishment of Schools in the Emirate of Dubai and as a teacher trainer within the Emirates Schools Establishment, I spearhead change processes that enhance standardized learners’ academic achievement and trainers’ performance. Areas of specialization include curriculum, evidence-based instruction, and teaching practices, including the integration of instructional technology that has given tangible results in terms of student achievement and teacher performance. I am Maria, holding an M.Sc. in Mathematics and an M.A. in Educational Leadership in the process, I am very passionate about creating and being a part of an environment that triggers students to achieve their best. It includes interactive teaching aids development, the creation of mathematics revision booklets which are used in schools all over UAE, and coaching students to excel in the national and international mathematics competitions.

I incorporate the two as a teacher and educational administrator so as to motivate and transform students and the whole educational fraternity through student-centered learning and striving for improvement.
