I believe that teaching to primary level is quite challenging but i like to teach children because i love children. In order to teach children, i make the topic interesting by using models, colours, toys and cartoons. In general i don't answer the question directly instead explain the children in such a way that they answer the question by them self. e.g 8 X 5 = 25 Now how to answer without knowing the table?
Answer: Draw 8 vertical lines and then draw 5 horizontal lines intersecting all 8 vertical lines and then count the blocks. The answer is 40 very quickly.
If we need to teach about an animal like Leopard then we need to show pictures of many similar kind of animals and ask the children about them after that explain the differences between the animals and specific features so that children should be able to differentiate the animals and identify correct one.
