Music is extremely divine. It is a symphony between devotion and dedication. With interest, the learner may experience a change in their lives too.
They need not be in the same room as the teacher to gain this knowledge and that is the beauty of it. They may be anywhere in the world they can utilize this opportunity. Quite a lot of my students find learning through the Internet no different from the conventional face-to-face learning.
I teach my lessons Online over Skype, a freely downloadable software from www.skype.com. All you need is to create a user ID for yourself and have your computer set up with broadband internet, MIC and speaker.
I conduct lessons for students at all levels. Lessons are provided in two different formats being Carnatic Classical and Carnatic Semi classical vocal.
The first step would be to schedule a free trial lesson, so that I can understand the student’s level and interest, depending on which I will recommend the appropriate level the student should pursue. Class timings will depend on mutual convenience of the teacher and student.
Classes will be conducted one –on- one basis.
The Trial session is conducted as a session for student – teacher interaction and for the teacher to analyse the capability of the student and their interests.
Though online, Carnatic vocal music classes are Similar to the traditional method of imparting the Classical music knowledge and training wherein I customize each lesson to the student’s needs.
Strengths and weaknesses are noted and worked upon, and thus student’s progress will be efficient.
Command on vocal cords voice plays a major role in singing Classical Music. Voice needs devoted training to handle Carnatic Music successfully, which I focus on. Special training exercises are thought for the same.
“Sruthi Matha – Laya Pitha” – Sruthi and Laya are the two major and Important aspects in classical music. Students will be trained to maintain perfect Sruthi and Laya.
I also prepare my students for numerous exams including:
KSEEB Music Exam for Junior as well as Senior (Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board)
Carnatic Music Exams – Andhra Pradesh
