Born and bred Londoner, studied and graduated in London. I relocated to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia last year.
The range of student levels I have worked with are wide, and I plan lessons with a variety of focuses and methods. In addition to adapted course book materials, I employ authentic texts to target student needs. I have been working with children, teenagers and adults from a variety of backgrounds on a 1-1 and classroom setting. I teach English for exam preparation such as IELTS, TOEFL, TEFL, Duolingo, GCSE and IGCSE Cambridge. I also teach adults and children English as a second language.

I view teaching as a service, and my management experience whilst working in Government has developed in me invaluable teaching skills. Running training sessions has improved my leadership abilities, while supervising multicultural staff to providing advice to Ministers has helped me to communicate with all types of people.

I also have years of experience of working with young people and adults from challenging backgrounds, to get them into education and work, which includes writing CV, Personal Statements, interview preparation and mentoring. I am currently working with adults in personal statement and CV writing to assist them in career change opportunities.
