I like to teach from the known to the unknown that's from what the student knows and then connect it to what he needs to know. I also practice dividing the lesson in three parts that's the starter, activation and then finally consolidation in all my lessons with activation part taking the majority of the period. My lessons comprises of one or two lessons being introduction to a unit then the rest are practices to exam style questions from different past papers and good sites like save my exams in order boost the student's confidence in question answering approach. The lessons I teach also involve a number of teaching aids where applicable so as to provide visual learning in and active learning to students
