Hello! I have tutored both mathematics and the sciences ever since I was in my high school days, and I am excited to share my knowledge with the next generation of students who are in need of help in their schoolwork or are simply curious about learning new things. I have just recently graduated with a master's degree in Advanced Chemical Engineering, but my passion for teaching has always remained with me.

My main philosophy in teaching is that students should not only understand the subject material but that they should enjoy it. I usually do this through lots of practice exercises, and I adapt exercises based on the weaknesses and strengths that I can perceive in the students. Thus, everything is tailored for the student. This ensures that the difficulty level is always right - not too easy that they get bored, but not too challenging that they want to give up. I believe that anyone can learn anything if we are taught properly. Furthermore, I believe that anyone can enjoy learning if we get the process right.

    I was appointed as a guest teacher in the school where I taught competitive mathematics as well as summer remedial classes. I was assigned to classes of about 10-30 students.
  • Freelance Tutor (Jun, 2014–Aug, 2018) at Grace Christian College, Quezon City
    I worked during the summer holidays as a private tutor around Grace Christian College. I mainly tutored high school students, but I also had experience teaching competition-level mathematics to primary school students. My main areas of tutoring were mathematics and the sciences, as well as university entrance exam preparations.

I can’t thank you enough Honeyfer. I feel so blessed to Have been to have found you as my tutor!!
Having had horrible experiences with math throughout my life and thinking I was just one of those unblessed people when it came to the topic, you proved me otherwise with your level of patience(I tend to like to question everything even when I understand it) and skill(the way you explain why and how things are happening rather than it just feeling like a puzzle or things magically disappearing or reappearing).

I seriously was reconsidering my choice in a economics degree before I met you, specially since economics is so math heavy. Now I have started to even enjoy it because I completely understand what is happening and look forward to all the degree has to throw at me because of the confidence you have helped me gain!

Bless you for going out of your way for me and giving a personal touch and customizing the topics you teach and making it as relatable to my degree and show me how the math I learn is used in the particular domain I need.As a student I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect teacher ???
