I have been over four years as engineering researcher to develop on-line and off-line condition-based-maintenance at Centre for Efficiency and Performance Engineering. I have had a full understanding of fault diagnostics of different mechanical parts such as bearings, journal bearings, gearboxes and compressors based on vibration, acoustic and acoustic emission signal analysis. My experience in research has knowledge in mechanical and material, signal processing engineering, condition monitoring, fault diagnostic and maintenance supervision.
During research, my technical experiences were enhanced. I have experience of installing and assembling test rigs. Also, I have full understanding of adjusting alignment and operating test rigs. Beside hand work, I written several matlab codes to develop different signal processing techniques including clustering huge FFT data, envelope, short-time Fourier transform, fast kurtogram, wavelet, conventional signal bispectrum and modulation signal bispertcum.
By using Simulink and Matlab code, I developed mathematical model to simulate vibration excitation sources. Furthermore I generated animation codes to present vibration sources in a ball bearing, a journal bearing, asperity collisions and asperity churns, links bellow;

In the course of PhD, I have supervised undergraduate students in the lab. I guided them to demonstrate concept of vibration, to install test rig, to collect data, to write Matlab code and to analyse vibration and acoustic emission signals of ball bearings and journal bearings. Furthermore, I have experience of developing and writing programmes in Solidworks, Fortran and office software.
Addition of research experience, I have several years of international teaching experience in mechanical and material department at Gharyan (Aljabal Algarbi) University in Libya. And I have held full time lectureship position and reviewed, lectured and tutored a wide range of courses. I taught several subjects such as material property, workshop techniques, production I&II, numerical analysis and Industrial Management. Also I was a tutor of computing programs such as excel, Matlab and management software. Additionally, I supervised and examined final year students.
I also have experience in learning and excelling at new technologies as needed.
I have several conference papers and a journal paper and still working to publish more journal papers.
