Hello everyone,
My name is Renata. I am from São Paulo, Brazil, but I live in the New York metropolitan area.

I have extensive experience and knowledge teaching a second language. I would love to share my expertise and all I've learned so far with my previous students on this platform.

I’ve been working as a language instructor for Berlitz, PGLS, and Global LT, teaching Brazilian Portuguese for corporate groups at several tech and energy companies. I also had the opportunity to work with USG employees.

My background includes a degree in History with a minor in Education and also a degree in Visual Communications.

Before starting this journey as a language teacher, I was working in desktop publishing as an art editor at a newspaper published in São Paulo, Brazil.

I have been working with diverse learners of all levels for many years and been recognized for really caring about my students' and helping them to achieve their goals. I’m greatly passionate about teaching, and I love helping others to improve their language skills and to feel more confident about themselves.

Produced, reviewed and approved designs, artwork, photography, content, graphics, infographics, and editorial layouts for the newspaper’s daily and special editions.

The best teacher

I've been studying for a few months with Renata and she's a wonderful teacher and amazing person.
