I am someone passionate about teaching Mathematics. With an MSc degree in the subject, specializing in Pure Mathematics, my interest lies in teaching mathematics at the graduate, undergraduate, and HS level. I do rigorous teaching of the subject focusing primarily on clarification of the fundamental concepts. The definitions, theorems, and techniques taught will be motivated by examples so that students can have a better picture of what is actually going on. Diagrams and pictures will be used wherever they seem to make understanding easier and better. This is followed by teaching how to solve relevant problems using formulae, techniques, or otherwise. Problems and homework assignments will be provided regularly to complement the course material and to strengthen the students' understanding -- the only way to learn mathematics deeply is to solve it's problems. The problems in question will be those of varying levels of difficulty: some of them merely to test the understanding of the concepts, others to develop problem-solving skills, and the rest to challenge the students and push them beyond their comfort zone. Periodic tests are taken from time to time to keep track of progress. I take a hands-on approach to the subject.
