Hello! My name is Raymond and I am a fresh graduate. I completed my Bachelor of Secondary Education with a Major in English at a University. As a student before and a future educator, we have undergone rigorous training to prepare us for our careers. This includes writing lesson plans, preparing instructional materials, and having teaching demonstrations in the classroom with our classmates as our students while being supervised by highly proficient professors. We were holistically trained. We even had to teach outside the university for a minimum of 300 hours as a final requirement. As a result, I have several accomplishments while I was still studying. One of them is my research paper or thesis, which has been published in an international-peer-reviewed journal- that has never happened in our College (College of Education) before. I also won first place during an oral presentation of our research in a research colloquium where we had to compete with other representatives from other campuses. These look like great accomplishments. But the greatest accomplishment that I have achieved in my opinion is that there was a time when I was still studying and I got low grades and even failed some of my subjects. But that didn't stop me from trying again. Getting low grades and sometimes committing mistakes is perfectly normal. What is important is we get up, and try again. Now as a teacher, you will find that I don't get upset or disappointed whenever a student commits mistakes. What important for me as a teacher is that you as a student will keep trying and give your best. After all, anyone who hasn't committed a mistake hasn't tried anything new. Don't worry as your teacher I will always be guiding, encouraging, and cheer you to give your best. I have been there as a student.
