Myself vishnupriya. I am a veena teacher. I did my post graduation in veena. I specialized in karaikudi style of veena. I teach gamakam in the basic lessons, so that when you reach next level of geetham, varnam, krithis you can able to understand more tough gamakam. Veena is a fond of gamakam. Students has to play veenai with gamakam not with a plain notes. Veena is our national instrument and also as per kanchi periyava wordings those who play veena for 30 years they attain moksha.
