My name is Poonam Luthra and I have over 12 years experience not counting internships and volunteer work. Being educated in an International school since childhood with in the multi-cultural environment being exposed to diversity and over the years through teaching younger children within the setting of International School. My teaching method for younger kids “learn through play”. In my opinion “play” is extremely vital and is one of the core methods in which children learn and develop. It supports to shape their self-esteem by providing them a sense of their own capabilities and feel good about themselves. Through this, they can acquire vital skills , such as problem solving, team work and sharing. The child can learn to sense of the world. This is very much associated with cognitive and humanist orientation with learning.
