RiccardoChess Coach c/o Cesena Chess Club
No reviews yet
I approached chess in 1982 at the age of 13 and my passion for the game has remained unchanged ever since. I am a Candidate Master with 40+ years tournament experience all over the world. I got Arena Grand Master title in 2017. I have obtained the certifications of FIDE Instructor (2014) and FSI National Instructor (2016) and have 10+ years coaching experience. I founded two chess clubs in my town and organize chess tournaments as well. I teach online via Zoom. Usually I start with the student's games. It is very important to detect typical and recurring errors. One very important thing to keep in mind: don't expect one lesson to solve all your problems! The instructor will surely help you improve your game but you can't become a good player if you don't also work on your own. This is where the instructor's support is particularly important: directing the student in the right direction, observing his chess and psychological problems, and carefully monitoring progress. The worst thing that can be done is to repeat the same mistakes over and over again.
