Teaching is my passion and I am a teacher by choice.
I find joy in both teaching and coding.

I hold the belief that learning is a lifelong journey, and thus, I dedicate most of my time to both teaching and learning.

I approach problems from the students' perspective, convinced that concepts are more easily grasped through precise examples and clear explanations.

I strive to simplify complex concepts, rendering them into simple, understandable forms with real-life examples that resonate with children and students.

My teaching methodology is adaptable, tailored to the students' existing knowledge, their curiosity, and areas of ignorance. I guide children in analyzing problems, and in the design, development, and refinement of computer programs using the best programming strategies.

I make learning an enjoyable experience, whether it's the coding process or solving arithmetic problems.

I also instruct young children in programming/coding. Mastery of any subject begins with a solid understanding of the fundamentals, which is why I emphasize them. Through interactive sessions and screen sharing, beginners can acquire skills in program development and debugging.

Personally, I am honest, dedicated to any task I undertake, and patient.

I offer instruction in the following subjects:

1. Computer Science curriculum for ICSE/ISC/CBSE/IB/AP CS A, covering languages such as Python, Java, C, and C++. Topics include algorithm design, problem-solving, pseudocode, flowcharts, programming concepts, data structures, arrays, and databases. For AP CS A, I guide students through MCQs and FRQs to teach them effective problem-solving strategies.

2. Programming fundamentals, including pseudocode, algorithms, and flowcharts, along with languages like Java, Python (including pandas and numpy), C, C#, Coral and C++ for beginners and children, I teach Coral programming, focusing on basic programming skills and easy-to-understand coding structures.

3. Data structures such as arrays, queues, stacks, linked lists, and trees, which are essential for competitive programming.

4. Object-oriented design and programming techniques.

5. Digital systems, including logic gates, truth tables, canonical forms, K-maps, and Boolean algebra.

6. GCSE Math, Computer Science, and numerical methods for B.Tech and BCA students, covering topics like linear equation systems (Gauss elimination, Gauss-Jordan, and Gauss–Seidel methods), curve fitting, linear correlation, and more.

7. Mathematics for school children

8. Language instruction in Tamil (reading, writing, speaking) and spoken Kannada for beginners.

Awesome teacher!!!

Ms. Hemamalini K had tutored me on the basics of data structures and algorithms which, immensely helped with my placements in college. The concepts were taught to me in a very easy to understand manner making my basics in data structures and algorithms strong. Ma'am also took extra care to clear all my doubts regardless of how simple they were and always ensured proper understanding of each topic. Ma'am was also very sincere in teaching and I was always very eager to attend her classes. I would highly recommend everyone to take classes with Ms. Hemamalini K for her great skill in teaching. Amazing teacher

Ms. Hemamalini is a great teacher and very knowledgeable. She explained everything about Java so clearly and was very flexible to my availability. I learned so much from her and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for help.

Tamil language tutoring

I have been learning and practicing Tamil with Hemamalini Teacher's husband, Mr. Ramakrishnan. The classes are well structured with graded lessons of good quality. The attention paid to the distinction between formal and informal usage in Tamil is particularly helpful. Also, Mr. Ramakrishnan helps the learner actively raise their level through drills and exercises during class sessions. Having learned several other languages previously, learning Tamil with Mr. Ramakrishnan has been right up there for me in terms of quality and positive experience.

Knowledgeable and empathetic teacher

I took introductory classes in Python (native + numpy) from her before beginning my Masters of Data Science program. She has an excellent approach to break concepts down to simple topics and supported me through the journey. The 2 big things which helped me were that she would always ask good follow-up questions to make sure I understood the concepts well and wouldn’t hesitate to repeat and reinforce things which were discussed earlier. Overall, I was highly benefited by her program and would highly recommend her as a wonderful and empathetic teacher.

Concept made easy through her teaching

My honest review about the teacher is, she is very knowledgeable in terms of subject perspective as well as exam perspective.
She ensures every single class is utilized properly.
I reached her at last moment after school portions are over. She gave confidence and taught the exact requirement and to score high marks.

Amazing teacher

Mrs. Hemamalini has a tremendous amount of experience and lots of patience. She is great with kids, and I highly recommend her as teacher, especially for children. She has the ability to teach in different levels, be it to someone new to programming or to someone with a fair amount of knowledge in it. Its hard to find such a wonderful teacher.
My daughter has greatly benefited from her classes and she was always looking forward to learn more from the teacher.

Great teacher
