My role as a Teacher/lecturer is to be willing to do what it takes to make sure all students
Understand mathematics. It is also important to make sure that each student is being
Challenged to a healthy level that will stimulate even more learning. This is a difficult
thing to do because all students are at different learning rates and levels of knowledge.
The role of a mathematics lecturer is open to immeasurable amounts of creativity. I am
so excited to be in this role. I have so much creativity freedom as a mathematics lecturer
I feel that there are appropriate ways to evaluate students. I feel that homework is
definitely important, but I found through class discussions that having immediate
feedback from students in the classroom is a great way to assess the students in a none
formal and relaxed environment
In conclusion, I have big ambitions for my classroom. I believe that my
Philosophy is well thought out and will be great for students. I am excited to implement
my ideas into a classroom. I hope to have respect from my students
because they will see how I am going to be willing to do anything it takes for
Mathematics to be fun for all my students. If they are still not able to see the fun in it, I
Will at least strive to make the students’ understand
