I am Sounak Roy,a Professional Musician(Drummer).I have been playing for the past 15 years and worked as a private music tutor (percussion,drums) from 2009.I have done my grades from Trinity College Of Music London.I am presently working in The Arko Mukherjee Collective,The Arinjoy Trio, Mixed Signals and The Con-Souls.Blue Forrest,The Frontgate Project were few of my previous endeavors.I am extremely lucky to have been associated with the music of the bengali feature film NEEL LOHIT, several short films like 8TO8 by Pratim.D.Gupta(dir.),KEY^2 by graduate student of SRFTI Soumik(dir.),Media advertisement video for EPL in KOLKATA GOALZ by Notsoabsolute media.There is an EP release of 4 songs with the band BEE AND THE BUSKERS along with a video release of one of the songs. ARINJOY TRIO in February 2019 released their first eponymous album. Arinjoy Trio has four live videos of four original songs and several live show reels online. Former Drummer of JACK RABBIT INDIA, DRIFTWUD,S.Y.N.C. India.I am a part of the South Point School percussion faculty from 2015 till date and Drum faculty for Shri Shikshayatan School from 2016 till date.Worked with Guitarist Mr.Sumith Ramachandran and Mr. Amyt Datta. I have been part of The Arko Mukhaerjee Collective for the past 2 years.The Collective has videos which have gone viral on YouTube.I have had the privilege of travelling to Nepal for the Nepal Gypsy Jazz Festival with The Arko Mukhaerjee Collective in the April of 2019.Also played for THE KOLKATA JAZZ FEST 2020 with ARINJOY TRIO
