What makes me agood teacher? Get to the core if the students. A good teacher should begin with knowing the context and the difficulties of the students. I have to know the needs of my students first. The rest will follow. Learning strategies should become a way if life. Learning Math must become easy for them when the approach is through puzzle, games, conversation, and story telling form. The teacher-student connection must be stressed with a good openness. Lecture/discussion with powerpoint presentation will always be around in my teaching style. Problem solving using block model approach is one of the best methods in teaching Math. Im looking forward to the full cooperation of the students as i journey with rhem.
