Head of Department for Psychology and teacher of Geography at a high achieving school. I have extensive experience, am hardworking and committed, motivating students to achieve their full potential by employing multi-sensory teaching and learning approaches (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, tactile).

My students have achieved excellent A-level and GCSE results with a 100% A-D in Psychology and Geography. I have received a very ˜good to outstanding rating for my lesson observations from Ofsted Inspectors and SLT. My assessments of Geography and Psychology coursework were commended by the OCR and AQA Exam boards as meticulous and of a high and professional standard. I am extremely confident in teaching both the AQA A and B syllabus in Psychology and OCR and AQA syllabus in Geography.

I have also worked with Kings’ College to promote Academic Writing in Sixth Form students which impacted positively on their essay writing skills. I provide personalised, evaluative Feedback to enable students to progress onto the next grade.

I have consistently raised the achievement of underachieving students through differentiated resources, intervention strategies, one to one tuition, as well as Case study and Revision Booklets.
