I am very systematic, punctual, dedicated and a passionate teacher. I tailor my teaching based on student's capabilities, encourage their learning and look for ways to make the learning experience an enjoyable one. I love to teach and always like to bring a positive change in my students both academic and behavioural.
I believe that concepts should be learnt well so that students can apply it later. To ensure these concepts are understood well, I use activity method, debates and discussions through which concept learning happens. I focus on academic improvements in students with their direct participation. I help improve student's handwriting by spending extra time with them on cursive writing.
For online teaching, I use white boards, PowerPoint presentations, videos to make my teaching more effective. I use Zoom as well as Google Meet for these online sessions. Over the last year, I have found that even through online teaching it is possible to bring academic improvements in students by giving individual attention, sharing videos that explain the content for self paced learning and using more examples.
I recognise that there are individual differences as each child is gifted in one or the other way. But, I am very confident that I will be able to reach their expectations by using conventional as well as non-conventional methods of teaching. As each child is unique and if it is possible to teach based on the child's capability, it will definitely reflect in their academic performance.

    Currently I teach Mathematics for grades 6, 7 & 8( ICSE syllabus). I coordinate students in House wise competitions in Skits, Sports and other extra curricular activities done in school.
    In my previous school, I did a project on "Forgotten Childhood Games" which was selected for British Council International School Award.
