My teaching philosophy is simple as pie: Teach like it is your last day today! I feel that a teacher should act as a guide to allow the student to choose his method of learning. He/She should share his/her experiences which give them vital life lessons. I start the lecture with overview of the topic to be discussed, cover the day's lesson, any objectives, learning goals, or intended outcomes, then introduce some type of group activity or project.
As an econometric teacher, first I try to convey the theory then take a real world data and apply the theory on an economic problem based on the theory.
I prefer for the students to take initiative and get more involved with their learning through active participation in the class. To engage pupils in the learning process across a broad range of topics is important in developing an effective teaching style in the classroom. To ensure pupils receive the learning that works for them, weekly assessment is also scheduled to get the output from the students.
