I am a goal-oriented, student-centered, and innovative educator; complemented by a background in research and development of physics, engineering, and computer programming. I am passionate about inspiring curiosity in Science and Mathematics, having an extensive online and face-to-face instructional experience. In my class, I promote proactive communication and boost students’ confidence so that they feel comfortable sharing their insights. I have 12 years of experience in teaching physics and mathematics to middle school, high school, undergraduate students, NEET Medical Entrance Exam candidates and IIT-JEE entrance examination aspirants.
I also have an extensive experience in teaching INDIAN or INTERNATIONAL physics and maths curriculum such as ICSE, CBSE, IB Physics HL and SL, GCSE, A Level, AS level, IGCSE, AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, AP Physics C: Mechanics, AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism, AP Precalculus, AP calculus and so on.. Excellent communication and teaching.
Dr. Uma Garg teaches our 12th grade child AP Physics 1. This is done online. She is an excellent teacher and excellent communicator. Dr. Garg is very particular about lesson length, consistency, and punctuality, which we appreciate very much. Dr. Garg has been open to our child's questions, and has patiently gone over concepts multiple times if need be. Her familiarity with the US curriculum and testing procedures have been immensely helpful for us parents and student altogether. Her recommendation to start the summer before start of school year was an excellent one. Those couple of months of advance learning definitely made things a lot more manageable for our child. We would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Garg for AP Physic 1 tutoring.

Excellent AP Physics C Teacher
Dr Uma is a great tutor that helped me a lot through the school year. Physics was always a hard subject to understand for me but her conceptual and numerical practices greatly allowed me to pass a notoriously hard class. She’s equally skilled in both AP Physics C Electricity and Magnetism and AP Physics C mechanics and is able to answer any question or topic in class that I had trouble in.
