I will cover the theoretical foundations of Geoinformatics while also providing hands-on experience with industry-standard tools like ArcGIS and ERDAS Imagine. Students can expect to learn not only the concepts behind GIS but also how to effectively use these tools for spatial data analysis, mapping, and problem-solving. Additionally, I'll introduce students to remote sensing, guiding them on where to download satellite images and explaining the basics of image processing. And also introduces programming languages such as Python and R, equipping students with the skills needed for data analysis and automation within the GIS context.
