Dear Students,

I am a Mathematics teacher with several years of solid experience. My most recent professional role has been of a Secondary Mathematics teacher at the prestigious Gems School in Dubai. I taught O level Mathematics and A level Statistics as per the British curriculum.

I was quickly promoted to the Head of Year 12 and then Head of Key Stage due to my impressive work performance. In this leadership role, I mentored students for their future studies and careers.

I have a MSc in Economics with distinction and a BSc in Economics and Mathematics. My education was my stepping stone to deliver quality work.

Nothing has been more thrilling for me than engaging with complex mathematical problems. Some of my students who despised Mathematics were transformed into ‘Mathematics lovers’ after my classes. I have scored high in all student evaluations. I believe intelligence for any skill set is acquired and not innate and I promise to equip you with tools with which you can master your Maths. A / A* grades are a result of passion and persistence. I have been blessed with the ability to ignite that flame inside my students. Most of my students end up with grades at least two levels above their predicted grades.

    I worked in a British Curriculum School teaching Mathematics to KS4 to KS5. I was responsible for preparing lessons, differentiation, personalisation, monitoring progress and providing challenging opportunities to varying student abilities. Grading formative and summative assessments and preparing O levels / A levels IGCSE students through extra support lessons.

    Not only do i have strong subject knowledge but i inculcate critical thinking among all my students. As part of my responsibilities as the Head of Year 12 i was also active in advising students about possible career choices based on their strengths, interests and backgrounds.
