Hi students,
I like my class to be very interactive. I have an experience of teaching online class through zoom. I always introduce the chapter by uploading a video and then explaining the concept. Through various PPT presentations, I teach the particular topic and always connect with the students through my experiences, as I have travelled all over India. It becomes easier for the students to co relate with History, Geography and Civics. I use many tools like Google Earth, Virtual tour and Google forms for conducting online tests after every lesson.
I use many other techniques like timeline, flowchart, Venn diagrams and also real objects like an onion to make the students to understand the concept of layers of the Earth. I have a good track record with students online and offline too. Social science being a dry subject, I rekindle interest in this subject with my teaching methods. This is implemented by making the students prepare presentations and Interesting projects, which would engage them.
