I am a professional teacher and tutor with 14 years of experience. As a former IBO Examiner, I have an in-depth understanding of the International Baccalaureate (MYP & Diploma Programme Years 1 and 2) modules, as well as the IGCSE Cambridge, GCSE, and IGCSE Edexcel syllabi for Physics and Mathematics.

By focusing on patterns, common pitfalls, and strategies to save time, I teach students how to approach and solve problems effectively. Planning answers before diving into them is a key skill I instill to boost both confidence and accuracy in exams.

3. Spaced Repetition
To reinforce learning, I assign focused homework based on areas that students struggled with during the lesson. This helps consolidate their understanding. Additionally, I design mini-assessments after every 2–3 topics to ensure long-term retention and readiness for exams.

My methodology emphasizes understanding concepts thoroughly and solving problems efficiently, as I believe time is an invaluable resource during exams. To aid comprehension, I incorporate real-world and industrial applications, showing students how theoretical concepts come to life in practical scenarios.

best maths teacher and most supportive

Prashant sir has taught me through MYP 1 to DP 2 in the IB program and Over these seven years, he has proven to be the best and most supportive teacher I have ever had. I used to get 1/7 in maths now i get 5-7/ 7 in maths and i was someone who hated maths but he made even the most challenging concepts understandable and interesting, using innovative teaching methods and real-world applications to bring the subject to life.
