I'm a biomedical science(hons) graduate from Northumbria university- UK and I have worked as a molecular scientist at Colombo medical faculty and Durdans hospital-Colombo. I have a thorough knowledge in cell biology,biochemistry,molecular biology and genetics,pharmacology,human anatomy and physiology,medical microbiology.Since I have a practical knowledge in science i'm capable to clearly explain both theory and practical parts in a simple manner. While teaching i'm frequently follow syllabus( local) which given by educational department and i'm updating about the syllabus chages. I prefer to teach AL- biology and OL- science(from grade 8- 11) in both sinhala and english medium. After successful completion of the each lesson(text book, teacher's guide) i'm usually conducting a revision session(question and answer rounds, written papers, past papers) for my students.In addition to these mock exams once a month another exam will be given in order to reduce students' fear to exams and to refresh the memory about theory parts which learn few weeks back. Further for grade 10, 11 students and grade 12 students will be directly practiced to OL science paper and AL biology paper, respectively. Finally as a teacher I'm always expecting students' interest on subject and hard work in order to achieve good grades in their final examination.
