Greetings, I am Bhavna, a recent PhD graduate with numerous publications. I obtained my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Inorganic Chemistry from the esteemed University of Delhi. I have been teaching the students of International chemistry curriculum like Chemistry honours(USA), Enriched chemistry and IGCSE( Edexcel, AQA, AS, A level) and IB curriculum( SL/HL) for more than four years. More specifically, I have great experience of tutoring for competitive exams of college board like AP chemistry and SAT chemistry. Also, with a strong international publication record in American chemical society, Wiley, Elsevier, I have indulged the working on assignments, internal assessments and lab reports. Furthermore, I have worked on numerous lab experimental techniques like photoelectron spectroscopy, Mass spectrometry, Chromatography, spectroscopy, I like to help the students in their lab experiments as well.

My teaching philosophy revolves around instilling a profound understanding of chemistry, fostering creativity, and nurturing curiosity. Encouraging students to ask questions is a pivotal part of my teaching methodology, as it provides valuable insights into their comprehension of the subject matter. Furthermore, I believe in strengthening students' confidence by guiding them through numerical problem-solving based on relevant formulas. After each class, I provide concise notes summarizing the topic, and I also dedicate a class to quizzes for comprehensive revision.

Student review

The class I took this year was Chemistry honors. During the year, my teacher was focused, patient, and accommodative throughout the teaching process. She was an attentive listener but also a descriptive explainer and she would re-explain topics/illustrate them if I failed to understand. She is a great teacher and I would take chemistry again with her.

Grade 10 Chemistry

Bhavna ma’am is good teacher. She helped me understand basic chemistry concepts. She also is very patient while teaching and answers students questions clearly by explaining the concepts. She is well versed with using technology and uses visual medium and writes down concepts rather than lectures. I would recommend her for students struggling with science especially chemistry.

Excellent Chemistry tutor

My daughter studies Chemistry Honors in the US. Bhavna has been helping her with the lessons since the last few months.
