My name is Akshaya Lakshmi. Been dancing for quite a long time. I am also doing a certificated course in Kuchupudi now. I teach bharatnatyam, mohiniyattam, contemporary, bollywood, and semi classical. I am a dentist all the way and I ll be dancing whenever you don’t find me there. My main motto when it comes to dance is "dance your heart out". I have a teaching style of what is best to each student. Dance is my passion and moreover I dance for happiness! In my classes I also would work on both practicals as well as how to be a good dancer in theory. Dance is an art, but anybody can dance if you think you love it! Dance to express and not to impress! Love dance and dance will love you back. There is no shortcuts but just hardwork and hardwork alone. Its not about the form, but the dedication you have towards it. It might not be easy at first, but once you reach there, you 'll just know that you have found your love! I would love my students to find it and have true faith in themselves!
