I have completed M.Tech in Advanced Communication System and also worked as an Assistant Professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering department and taught at the undergraduate and graduate level. While teaching, I am more a mentor and organizer of learning experiences and situations, such that my students actively understand, reinvent and reconstruct everything they learn. I am passionate about teaching. I have a steady source of motivation that drives me to do my best. I am focused and dedicated towards my work and do my work with full honesty and hard work. A teacher must continuously instill students’ curiosity and keep them inquisitive. Once students know the basic concepts, a teacher should encourage them to be on their own, to question the known, find the unknown and reason about it. This requires a teacher to develop independent thinking ability among students. I like to encourage students to ask questions and really understand subjects. I find non-traditional methods, like hands-on learning, to be particularly effective. Based on past experience, I found all aspects of teaching to be stimulating and rewarding: lecturing, interacting with the students, formulating problem sets, and lab experiments. I usually give out test samples that are easy for them so that they do well. When they see their score, they start to believe they can do it. This is a huge confidence booster. I'll continue to add just one or two challenging questions but continue to make it doable for their level. I would be pleased to teach in basically all topics of the Electronics and Communication Engineering curriculum. In particular, I have a solid background in Electronic devices and circuits, Digital Electronics, Analog Electronics, Network Theory, Analog Communication and Digital Communication.
