Hi everyone,
I am a trained Indian classical and Semi classical vocalist, performer and teacher.Currently I am having students from all across the globe like USA, Australia, Nigeria, Belgium, Qatar, Israel etc..Having started my musical journey at the age of 3, I have come a long way in this path, covering various forms of Indian music such as Hindustani classical, Hindustani semi classical, Bhajan, Ghazal, Devotional songs,Ragpradhan, Rabindra sangeet, Najrulgeeti, Bollywood songs etc.I have been in this musical field for more than 20 years. I have performed more over 200 concerts.I also play Tanpura and Harmonium(Major Instruments of Indian Music).I belong to Kirana Gharana, Bishnupur Gharana and Patiala Gharana, under guidence of Pt Alok Chattopadhyay, Pt Amiya Ranjan Bandyopadhyay, Pt Ashish Chakraborty, Shri Shankar Nath Ghoshal.I topped in my batch from Rabindra Bharati University (1st class 1st) in B.A on Vocal music classical.I've also done my Masters in Vocal music Classical. I am also a Radio and Doordarshan artist and a National level winner in Prasar Bharati All India Radio competition. Few of my achievements and awards are mentioned below:

I have been teaching since last 13 years and have gathered lots of experiences during my teaching profession.As a trainer, I greatly believe in creating a bond with my students and establishing a strong foundation in them.I believe to build up a strong base before proceeding on to the next level. Music needs dedication and lots of practice with patience. l experienced that same teaching process is not applicable for all types of students, though some basic techniques are there but a teacher 's teaching process should be modulated according to student's age, merits and learning capabilities.I try to make the learning process enjoyable and comfortable.In the learning of Music I always provide recordings for enabling my students to practice.

Great Teacher

I have been learning for few months now and Antara has been very cooperative and understanding.I thought ,I coule never sing, but she instilled the thought that it is possible to learn if you have passion and determination. She is very cool in her teaching and I am enjoying my journey with her.

Well experienced and great teacher

She takes time to make sure her students understand the material they’re learning. She is very knowledgeable in music and provides multiple suggestions on how to improve in singing. Overall, she is a great well experienced teacher.

Great for Beginners

Excellent Teacher with great music and interaction skill

Antara is an excellent teacher. She understands student's requirements, their strength, and weakness and creates individual learning path. She develops friendly relations with students and that makes learning so much easy and fun at the same time. A brilliant teacher and an amazing person

Becoming a successful music teacher is difficult as it demands a lot more than just education and knowledge. It needs the ability to personally connect with her students and to quickly adapt to a different teaching method respective of the person. Awesome teacher!

Antara is an amazing teacher! I have been learning from her for over a few months and I feel like I have improved a lot! I came in with a specific goal in classical music and she has helped me get better with it. I have also learned how to sing a few different songs. She is really nice and gives feedback very politely. She also sings really well. I also appreciate how she provides recordings and notes as needed. I would definitely recommend her as a teacher!

Excellent music teacher

Miss Antara teaching my son for around 6 months . She has lot of patience while teaching . She has excellent voice , after all classes she send songs for practice. She is very punctual and adjustable with time . My son can not read Bengali , she translate all the tans and music in English . My son enjoy the class . I will definitely recommend her for as classical singing teacher .

An excellent teacher!

I have completed 1 month under her guidance and I am very happy with her teaching. She is very helpful and understanding also as you can clear your doubts or do corrections as many times as you need and she is always there to encourage you.
