I have been a tutor for a while now, and i love teaching the younger generation. I am passionate to help them learn and understand things better rather than just plain memorizing. I have various methods of teaching to suit different students' needs. I also understand that every student has a different pace of learning and absorbing new content. Comparing students with others is something i absolutely avoid. I help them make proper notes so they can have summarized notes that they would be able to refer to before their exams. As a student, i had struggled learning certain concepts and applying them, but managed to help myself by using various methods - drawing mind maps, color coding notes and so on. First i test my new students and get to know what they are having difficulties with and from there, focus on what to and how to teach them in the following lessons. After a certain number of lessons, i would give them another mini assessment to ensure they have understood the content and also show parents their children's progress. I can maintain good communication with my students, so they can trust me and share their problems.
