I am a dynamic teacher, a seasoned professional with great ability in the teaching of Mathematics. I have seen many reasons why students tend to fail the subject mathematics. The failure or lack of interest is not because they(the learner) are not endowed but majorly because of the presentation of the concepts. The teacher's experience coupled with his ability in the subject is partly sufficient and partly necessary to determine the learning outcome.
I see no reason(s) why students failure should constitute 50% of their ability (previous knowledge) and/or their readiness to learn in order to achieve the expected and desired learning outcome. For more than 15 years I have consistently achieve a continuous trend of improvement with my teaching methodology.
I have been able to achieve more than 90% percent success between last year 2019 and early this year 2020 with my students in the sixth form college. My focus and style of teaching is summarized thus: 1) on the students, I make my lesson very interactive and student-centred to help the weakest student score at least 70% in the general assessment; 2) on myself as a teacher, I do regular research and personal development to be sure I am up-to-date with facts and figures regarding my subject and topics.
If I have the privilege to present my proofs, I will gladly do so with alacrity! Thank you.
