Sumana ji is a great teacher! I have been taking dance online lessons for a few months. I have already learned a lot… She explains all steps and demonstrate clearly. She pays very close attention to the foot work.. She is very calm and pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend her as a Kathak teacher. Bless to have teacher like her..

Sumana is really passionate about dancing and she infuse the same passion in her students. She makes learning so enjoyable and simple. She is flexible with her approach and teaches at learner's pace. I was hesitant initially about online lessons but she is a gem, she make online learning super easy. She send the video tutorials for every lesson which is just so helpful.I am delighted to learn Kathak from her and highly recommend her ?

I've been learning kathak online with Sumana for a few weeks now and she's an absolute gem. Super flexible with time, really understanding and caring. She's very calm and kind with me when teaching, and never rushes me when I'm a little slow during class. It's only been a few classes but I feel like I've already learned so much. I've been learning Kathak from Sumana via online classes, for a few weeks now. Sumana is extremely knowledgeable and exemplifies professionalism. She is so meticulous about her art in every aspect. She pays very close attention to the footwork, the form and expressions with my practice and performance. Her classes are so much fun and her tutorial videos are very detailed, filled with examples and analogies that help me remember the steps. Sumana brings comradery and support to her online classes. I'm glad to have found her and feel very lucky to be learning from such an inspiring and motivating teacher.

I joined Sumana's classes around 3 months back and have been so impressed not only by her dancing skills but also her professionalism. She has a great knack of understanding what each individual is capable of and customizes her classes accordingly. She is extremely patient and ensures that I pick up my steps correctly. We’re 3 sisters that are learning from her and she is a fantastic teacher. She catches us whenever we do a step wrong, and is great at teaching us through the internet. I admire the way she gracefully dances and with her practice, I’m sure I can be a successful dancer like her. I’ve been going to her for a month and I already have seen some progress! Her practice videos really make it way easier to learn, and learning from her is really fun!

She is a fantastic teacher who has complete command over her art and also , she knows what and how much should be given to the students who are attending the online class. She explains with same ease to a trained dancer and non dancer. If, I get an opportunity, will definitely attend her offline(physical)classes too. It's really a lot of fun to learn from her. She is the best in her field. She teaches in a very communicative way that it will help you a lot to learn the dance form. The practice videos after every class is another thing that will help to memorise the lesson and also boost up the motivation to practice. She is a great teacher.
