Shreyasi Gopinath is a Bharatanatyam dancer, teacher & choreographer. Equipped with a Post Graduate diploma from the prestigious Kalakshetra Foundation, where she was a part time teacher. Shreyasi’s craft and passion has been recognized and received critical acclaim across renowned forums, geographies and by the media. Shreyasi is a Ministry of Culture, Government of India Scholarship holder. She is also a Doordarshan Graded artist.
Shreyasi has performed widely in India. To name a few Soorya Festival, Puthur Festival, Spirit of Youth, Music Academy, Sangeeth Natak Academy and many more.
Shreyasi’s international performances : All china youth cultural exchange, Mexico tour through ICCR, Siam University, Bangkok, Lithuania & Latvia – art Festival, Hong Kong dance festival, Malyasia Art Festival and many more
She is empaneled with IRCEN to promote Indian art and culture among the underprivileged and in rural parts of our country. She has given lecture demonstrations at Raipur, Goa, Shivpuri, Punjab, Rajasthan etc.
Shreyasi has choreographed numerous margams. Her most recent production on Karna has received critical acclaim. Shreyasi is also a part of the Jyotsna Shourie Repertory Company.
Shreyasi established her institute by the name of Shreyasi Gopinath Dance Academy in the year 2014. She has a large number of students in India and abroad and two centers in Delhi. She also has a very successful online teaching setup.
