My approach to teaching anchors on my appreciation of unique abilities of individuals and the
belief that everybody can benefit from classroom instructions and especially if such instructions are tailored around the child’s unique learning needs. Over the years, I have worked with children of diverse learning needs from a wide range of schools and social backgrounds on both private and classroom arrangements. One thing stands out in the two arrangements; notwithstanding the complexity of the subject matter, children benefit the most out of presentations that build on their strengths. Therefore, for me, all children are somewhat endowed with special learning abilities and the role of the teacher would be to uncover such specialties and develop on them.
In the over ten years of hands on experience, I have managed to guide students to excellent grades both at IGCSE and A Levels using student centered techniques of learning.
On a typical day, my classroom instructions include but not limited to mind mapping, web links, google handouts, whatsApp groups and worksheets. In the process, students come up with a wide range of ideas related to the body of knowledge under discussion.

    As head of department, I sit in Senior Management Team meetings coordinating and reporting departmental activities. I am also responsible for supervising British National curriculum roll out for each academic year and ensuring proper coordination of schemes of work and lesson planning.
    Most importantly, I engage in day to day planning and delivery of Psychology and Mathematics lessons as assigned by the time table coordinator.
