Myself Rekha from Mysore, B High graded artist from All India Radio, Mysore.
Trained in Carnatic Classical music and Bhavageethe (Light Music/ Sugama Sangeetha) from Smt H R Leelavathi. Have participated in various radio programs from 1987 organised by All India Radio, Mysore.

I conduct online classes for all age groups in Carnatic Vocal, bhavageethe, bhakthi geethe, Devotional Songs etc on one on one basis only. In addition to teaching, I conduct workshops so that people develop passion towards music.

Many students have appeared for music exams conducted by the Karnataka Board and Dr. Gangubhai Hangal University and achieve certification in Carnatic Music.

I am also an examiner for the carnatic vocal category from the Dr. Gangubai Hangal University. In addition to singing I play veena too.

I received first prize in the BHAJAN Category conducted by ATM and Kalakrithi Super Singer Contest 2023.

In addition I am having 25 years of experience in Human Resources and worked in various companies in Bangalore.

My daughter is enjoying the classes!!

Unbelievable and we hit the jackpot in finding the right Carnatic music teacher for my daughter. Mrs Rekha Iyengar is very patient, very talented and has natural teaching skill. Even though my daughter doesn't know how to speak fluent Kannada, she has learnt to sing and we are very proud of her progress. If a 11 year old girl born and brought in US is excited about learning our traditional Carnatic music through online, it is a credit as much to the skill of the teacher.

Wonderful Teaching

I and my Son have been learning Devarnama from Rekha Ma'am for the last 3 months and we are very happy with the progress made so far. Ma'am has been very supportive and has at all times tried to understand our tone and length of singing and has modified the singing pattern to match the wave length. Overall, a very good teacher with a lot of patience and energy towards teaching.

Wonderful experience
