I have been tutoring for more than 5 years, specializing in Singapore Math/Common Core.

I use Zoom for online teaching as I tend to use annotations and whiteboard for written explanations a lot.

I am patient and I am willing to do whatever it takes for my students to get each lesson, so I will use different methods to explain different lesson. I also give worksheets and extra exercises for practice. I will go at your (the student's) pace and I don't usually move on to the next lesson until you fully master the current topic.

Aside from teaching students, I also conduct workshops on the various topics taught in Singapore Math/Common core as a full course, and a workshop on how to teach Singapore Math to teachers and parents (see below for course details).

This class is a hands-on course on everything about bar modeling and how to apply it in word problems.

Singapore Math is an unfamiliar topic to most of us (adults), who were brought up with Traditional Math. Some find it hard to grasp the different concepts, and some find it harder to TEACH it to our students and children nowadays.
