My goal as a teacher is to develop an all round individual by helping the students understand and maximize on their potentials. In doing this, I strive to use learner-centred teaching methodologies that are tailored to the needs of each and every student, bearing in mind that each student has their own strengths and weaknesses. I ensure use of more practical approaches and use of audio-visual aids with the aim of making some abstract concepts more learner friendly and hence improving on understanding and retention. The results of these approaches have been overwhelmingly encouraging with more students wanting to take up science oriented careers and producing excellent results. In addition to teaching, I stand out in life coaching by providing guidance on various life issues like career choice, talent development, stress management and a milead of other life skills.
