Namaste,
I am Vidushi Sumedha, a Bharatanatyam dancer from Udupi, Karnataka. I am trained in classical Bharatanatyam of Pandanalluru style for 15 years by Natya Mayri Vidushi Lakshmi Gururaj. I completed my Vidwat from Karnataka Board of Secondary Education in the year 2019. I am a graded artist by DD Chandana, Bangalore. I am a recipient of CCRT scholarship by the Government of India in the year 2010 and scholarship by Karnataka Sangeeta Nritya Academy in the year 2016. I have participated and won numerous dance competitions including Bharatanatyam and Bollywood.
I have on-stage performance experience of 12 years, both with my guru and solo, giving over 700 stage performances all over India.

    Teaching junior and intermediate students. My responsibility was to teach them new compositions which involved equal amount of Nritta (Bodily movements) and same amount of Abhinaya (facial expressions) along with the context on the lyrics.

Fee details

    ₹500–2,000/hour (US$5.90–23.58/hour)

    Fees can always be discussed. Here are the expected honorarium:
    I charge Rs. 500/- per hour for a beginner (Simple and light choreography).
    I charge Rs. 650/- per hour for intermediate (Slightly complex choreography).
    I charge Rs. 750/- per hour for expert (Complex Choreography).

    I also conduct workshops. This will be best for students who are preparing for a competition/performance. Charges vary.
