I am an enthusiastic and highly experienced teacher and tutor of both Mathematics and Philosophy . I have taught in several countries, often to international students for whom English is not their native language. I enjoy teaching and tutoring, and do my best to help my students to do their best, and to enjoy doing so. Enjoyment, I think, is an important component in genuine learning.I am flexible, respectful, and teach with a a light and humorous touch, always starting from where my student is, taking into account their motivation, ambitions, preparedness and ability.
