Since I've done my CertTESOL, I've been adapting ESL strategies in all of my classes, be it IELTS, Academic English (ESP) or General English (both Online and offline). I’ve taught in both India and Vietnam for student at various levels from YL, teenagers to adults.
To speak of the strategies itself, they're all student-centered task-based activities that require the student to be constantly engaged with the teacher, conversing and also learning the language skills rather than just the language.
For example, learning to make a phone call by actually practicing it in the class through the task given and learning to express regret by placing the student in different scenarios while the student uses the language point. For grammar enthusiasts, grammar is very much a part of every lesson.
Also,I incorporate different mediums such as videos, songs, and pictures into the lesson that makes the language super fun to learn.
Finally, you can expect up-to-date teaching materials, advice and styles of teaching that incorporates 21st century skills.
