I was trained at Max Mueller Bhavan, Pune from August 1985 to Feburary 1986. After which I studied and worked in Germany for almost a decade. I am fluent in both spoken and written german and have a flair for teaching.
My first students were my kids who opted for German in school. Teaching them and helping them in their home assignments was fun. I decided to pursue teaching seriously. I have now been teaching German mainly to school and college students who have opted for German in school/college for five years. So total experience of 15 years (10 years in Germany+5 years teaching) of which teaching experience is five years.
I encourage students to speak, listen and read during the class and writing is part of their home assignment. This helps in the prounciation and vocabulary learning, which otherwise is difficult if they do it alone.
Students in the past have enjoyed learning German from me. Most of them have referred me to their friends. Imparting knowledge is a very satisfying experience.

    I have been teaching German offline and lately online to school students. Teaching comes naturlly to me. My first students were my children who opted for German as part of their school curriculum. I enjoyed teaching them and realised that I would like to continue with teaching.
    I lay emphasis on reading, listening and speaking during the class and encourage writing assignments to be done at home. This helps in correct pronounciation at least at the beginner level.
