As a first class graduate with a Nritya Visharad and (highest score in my batch)in Kathak from Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya with nearly 5 years of teaching experience, I have lived honed and breathed this art form since 10 plus years. I believe and follow steady step by step teaching learning methodology. Patiently demonstrating the technique, giving analogies, clues for recall of steps and adequate reasoning of where beauty takes over and where logic prevails while learning practicing. The hows and why's of learning are important, with that understanding I share my experiences with learners. Kathak is one of the finest classical Indian dance form that originated from North India with unique aspects of padhant that is reciting syllables in Hindi as starting point before one illustrates it on the floor.
