I make sure students understand the concepts rather than just memorizing the formulae and equations. I engage students and help them feel confident in their mathematical abilities. Students are encouraged to figure out where they went wrong and to keep working at the problem until they get the correct answer providing proper guidance and support where they needed.Learning is a process by itself. My ultimate goal is to develop interest and love for maths, analytical skills in students and help them get rid of their phobia for maths. I have been using the above stategies in mentoring students in my teaching experience and have witnessed outstanding results from them.
