My name is Mrs Rupali Majumdar, and I am an expert in Hindustani classical vocal music and in Rabindra Sangeet. I hold an MA degree in Hindustani Classical music from SNDT University,Pune and a professional degree in Rabindra Sangeet from Rabindra Bharti University, Kolkata, Sangeet Pravakar from Prayag Sangeet Samity, Allahabad and Sangeet Visharad from Prachin Kala Kendra Chandigarh. I have been associated with the SNDT University, as a visiting lecturer of Rabindra Sangeet in Post Graduate music Department of SNDT, Pune. As a teacher, I am a registered teacher of Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, and I have been teaching and preparing students for exams from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya for the last 30 years. I actively teach music, ranging from Hindustani Classical Vocal, to semi classical, light and Devotional, and from Rabindra Sangeet to other types of Bengali songs. I am available for online classes immediately, and can conduct classes either in one-to-one or group sittings. I teach only women and children.
Thrice a year I conduct some cultural programs with the students to encourage their skills and provide them a platform and stage to showcase their skills to their peers and family. This motivates them to be more actively involved in their musical journey.
