Hi/Hello,
I am Bangalore Narendra a professional Mridanga artist with experience of 30 years performing across South India. Horned with a couple of awards from Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha as Best accompanist, Nada Choodamani from Shidlaghatta Thyagaraja Aradhana Sabha. and many more, it's my passion to train students who are interested in playing the instrument. So far I have trained 20 students. I Have simplified playing Mridanga so that the students can start performing very fast, unlike the traditional way where it takes 10 to 15 years, where my students can start performing from the 3rd year itself which will help them to overcome stage fear, and learn the art to and perform even if its a large arena. with no compromising in the quality of playing.
Why do students take a class from me?
I teach it in a simplified format that is easy to learn, implement, and practice, and within a short span of 3 to y years can start performing. I run a Sabha where in I provide a stage for young and budding artists and my students. i am experienced in teaching online as well as offline classes. Taking classes for American students, who started performing.

    Myself Vid.Bangalore Narendra, disciple of Anoor Anantha krishna Sharma and Thiruvaroor Bhakta Vatsalam. I have learnt mrudangam since the age of 8 and have taken it as a full time profession for last 25 years and have been teaching mrudangam for 25 years. I have performed all over Karnataka and have experience in teaching mrudangam. Previously I have worked in places like National Hill View Public School, RSS, Vijaya Collage of Music. I take classes at home as well as online classes. I am passionate in teaching Mrudangam and believe in one to one student interaction during classes instead of teaching in a group as a whole.
