Welcome to my page!

My name is Aaliyah and I am a South African living in Cairo.

I myself used to be a shy student at school and I always needed that extra bit of help to get me through certain subjects. That is why I would like to help you achieve your academic goals by giving you non invasive support, which means that I will help you and guide you on YOUR TERMS. I believe in friendly learner-centred teaching which makes you the centre of your own success and ability.

I focus on English, visual arts, history and cultural studies.

I would love to be your teacher/ tutor because I am patient and considerate. I know how overwhelming school/ college can be and sometimes being taught in a specific way might not be the best fit for you, and that is ok! That's where I come in, I find the shoe that fits! I listen to my students to try and understand how my assistance can be of benefit and how you can learn new things while tapping into your own knowledge, experiences and ideas.
