I hold a Ph.D. in economics from University of Barcelona and I will join to the Department of economics at University Carlos III of Madrid. I have an extensive experience working with the United Nations and European institutions and experience in teaching complex concepts in the Ph.D. courses such as economic theories to understand how to analyze the causal structure of economic phenomena and provide factual knowledge. In particular, my research focuses on general equilibrium effects on the labor markets in developing economies characterized by a high level of agriculture, high migration flow, fertility rates, and informal employment rates. Moreover, my previous positions at United Nations, European Parliament, and European Economic Committee as a trainee and research assistant have enhanced my skills in drafting reports and briefings, preparing background papers, and conducting policy analysis.
