I myself, Dr. Milon Banik is as an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Biotechnology, Sister Nivedita University (having almost 8 years teaching experience). I have completed my post-doctoral research in the field RNA Biology in IICB in a reputed Molecular Biology lab. I have completed my Ph.D from University of Kalyani, 2016 in the Dept. of Biochemistry and Biophysics. I completed my graduation in Microbiology from University of Calcutta in 2007 (1st class). After that, I completed my post-graduation in Biotechnology from Jadavpur University in 2009 (1st class). Prior to joining in the faculty position in a University, I was actively involved in various teaching areas in the field of modern Biology and I have an overall more than 8 years of teaching experience in both graduations as well as Post graduation level. Several students of mine currently are pursuing their research in various reputed institutes in India and are actively involved in different academic fields. Prior to join with the University, I was involved as a visiting lecturer in Dept. of Microbiology, in a govt College (more than 2 years). Besides my teaching experience, I am currently involved in the different research activities and having all most 10 years active research experience with 9 international publications and several works are in the queue. Last of all, I would like to inform that I have also qualified two all India based examination CSIR-NET and GATE respectively, in the field of life sciences.
